What instruments do these cases fit?
Standard foam layouts for 150+ instruments: oscilloscopes (Tektronix, Keysight, Rigol), multimeters (Fluke, Keysight, Brymen), signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, LCR meters, soldering stations, microscopes, and more. Custom layouts available.
What foam density is used for precision instruments?
We use 30kg/m³ base layer (shock absorption) + 45kg/m³ top precision-cut layer (instrument outline). For high-value instruments (>$10,000), we offer 50kg/m³ base layer + 60kg/m³ top layer for maximum protection.
Can the cases hold accessories and probes?
Yes. Standard foam includes dedicated compartments for probes, cables, BNC adapters, calibration certificates, and user manuals. We design foam based on your accessory list, ensuring every item has a secure spot.
Is the foam ESD-safe?
Yes. Our standard foam has anti-static coating (10^6 to 10^9 ohms surface resistance) to prevent ESD damage to sensitive electronics. We also offer fully conductive foam (10^3 to 10^5 ohms) for ultra-sensitive devices like hard drives and ASICs.
What is the maximum weight the case can support?
Standard 530x400x250mm case supports up to 25kg. Heavy-duty 730x530x350mm case supports up to 50kg. Custom cases can support up to 100kg (with reinforced corners and steel-core handles).
Can the foam include a humidity indicator?
Yes. We can add a humidity indicator card (HIC) to the foam, showing 10/20/30/40% RH levels. This is critical for instruments stored in fluctuating environments. We can also integrate desiccant pouches (silica gel, molecular sieve) for moisture-sensitive instruments.
Do you have cases for medical instruments like blood analyzers?
Yes. We custom-foam cases for point-of-care medical devices: i-STAT, Epoc, Accu-Chek, blood gas analyzers, hemoglobinometers, and rapid test readers. Foam is autoclavable and chemically resistant.
What about cases for optical instruments like microscopes?
Yes. We have layouts for laboratory microscopes (Leica DM, Olympus BX, Zeiss Axio, Nikon Eclipse), stereo microscopes, and digital microscopes. Foam includes compartments for objectives, eyepieces, cameras, and light sources. Foam is anti-vibration for high-magnification work.
Can the case be used for field calibration work?
Yes. Our field cases are designed for portable calibration: foam secures the calibrator (Fluke 5502A, 7526A, Beamex MC6), reference standards, cables, and printer. IP67 rating protects against rain. Wheels and trolley handle for easy transport.
Do you make cases for vibration analyzers and accelerometers?
Yes. We custom-foam cases for CSI, Emerson, Meggitt, Dytran, PCB Piezotronics, and Kistler vibration analyzers. Foam secures the analyzer, accelerometers, cables, mounting hardware, and magnets. Foam is anti-static and non-magnetic (for sensitive accelerometers).
What is the warranty?
5 years on case shell, 2 years on hardware, 1 year on foam. Lifetime technical support. If the foam doesn't accommodate your specific instrument, we re-cut the foam at no charge within 30 days.
Can the case include a built-in cable management system?
Yes. We can add cable management features to the foam: dedicated cable channels, hook-and-loop ties, and pouches for excess cable length. This is especially useful for instruments with multiple probes and connectors.
