What drone models does the foam accommodate?
Standard foam fits 80+ drone models: DJI Mavic (Mini 2/3/4 Pro), DJI Air 2S/3, DJI Phantom 4 Pro, DJI Avata, DJI FPV, DJI Inspire 2/3, DJI Matrice 30/300/350 RTK, Autel EVO Lite/Nano/II, Skydio 2+/X10, Parrot Anafi, senseFly eBee X, WingtraOne, and more.
How many batteries can the foam hold?
Battery capacity depends on case size. Compact case (380x280x150mm): 3-4 Mavic batteries. Medium case (530x400x250mm): 4-6 Mavic batteries or 2-3 Matrice TB60 batteries. Large case (730x530x400mm): 8-12 Mavic or 4-6 Matrice TB60 batteries.
Does the foam have a charging hub compartment?
Yes. Standard foam layouts include a dedicated charging hub compartment for DJI 100W USB-C hub, DJI Battery Charging Hub, Autel charger, and Skydio charging dock. We add cable management channels and dedicated slots for chargers.
What is the weight of the case loaded with DJI Mavic 3 Pro kit?
Empty case: 1.5-2.0kg. Loaded kit (drone + 3 batteries + RC + charger + ND filters): 3.0-3.5kg. Total weight with packaging: 3.5-4.0kg. Falls within carry-on baggage limits for most airlines.
Can the case fit a DJI RC 2 or RC Pro controller with built-in screen?
Yes. Standard foam includes a cutout for DJI RC 2 (5.5" screen), DJI RC Pro (5.5" screen, 1000 nits), and DJI Smart Controller. Foam accommodates the controller with sunshade attached (up to 8 inches total).
Is there a waterproof version?
Standard cases are IP67 (waterproof to 1m for 30 minutes). For full submersion or marine use, we offer IP68 cases (5m continuous immersion). IP68 cases are popular for drone fishing, marine surveying, and search-and-rescue operations.
Can I add TSA locks for airline travel?
Yes. Our cases come with TSA-approved combination locks standard. For international travel, we recommend adding AirTag or Tile tracker pockets (we can custom-cut the foam for these).
What about cases for commercial drone operations?
Yes. We supply cases to commercial drone operators (mapping, inspection, surveying, public safety). Foam is customized for the operator's specific drone fleet and accessories. Common configurations: 2-3 drones + 6-10 batteries + RTK base + controllers + tablets in 730x530x400mm case.
Can the case fit drone ND filters and lenses?
Yes. Standard foam includes a small accessory tray (100x80x20mm) for ND filter sets (4-6 filters), CPL filters, lens cleaning kit, and spare propellers. We can add larger trays for cinema lens sets (DL/DL-S) on Inspire 3.
What is the warranty?
5 years on case shell, 2 years on hardware, 1 year on foam. Lifetime technical support. If your drone no longer fits the foam (due to new accessories), we can re-cut the foam at 50% discount within 24 months of purchase.
Do you have cases for indoor inspection drones?
Yes. We custom-foam cases for indoor inspection drones (DJI Avata, Skydio Indoor, Flyability Elios 3, Parrot Anafi USA). Foam secures the drone, tether, control unit, and base station. Cases are compact (380x280x150mm) for easy carrying in industrial sites.
Can the case be locked and tracked?
Yes. We offer optional GPS tracker pockets (for AirTag/Tile), biometric locks (fingerprint), and RFID-tagged hardware for fleet management. Popular for rental houses and commercial operators managing 50+ drone cases.
