How many camera models does the foam cover?
Standard foam layouts are available for 200+ camera models across 8 sizes, including Sony A7/A9/A1 series, Canon R5/R6/R3, Nikon Z8/Z9, Fujifilm X-H2, Panasonic S1/S5, Leica Q3, and most cinema cameras. Custom layouts for any model are available with 5-7 day lead time.
What foam density is used?
We use closed-cell polyethylene (PE) foam with anti-static coating at 30kg/m³ density for the base layer (shock absorption) and 45kg/m³ for the top precision-cut layer (equipment outline). Optional high-density 60kg/m³ for extra-heavy gear like cinema lenses.
Can I add a custom foam for new cameras not in the standard list?
Yes. Send us the camera dimensions and accessories, and we create a custom foam layout in 3-5 days. Standard sample cost: $50-150. For orders of 50+ cases, custom foam is included at no charge.
What is the maximum lens diameter the foam can accommodate?
Standard foam handles lenses up to 110mm diameter (e.g. Sony 200-600mm, Sigma 150-600mm, Canon RF 100-500mm). For larger telephoto lenses (200-600mm, 400mm f/2.8, 600mm f/4), we offer extra-deep foam inserts up to 200mm depth.
Do you have foam for video accessories like gimbals and monitors?
Yes. We have foam layouts for DJI RS 3 Pro, RS 4 Pro, Zhiyun Crane 3S, Moza AirCross, and Freefly Movi. Foam also fits SmallHD/Atomos monitors, Teradek wireless video, follow focus systems, and matte boxes.
What are the standard 8 case sizes?
Compact 350x250x100mm, Small 430x330x180mm, Medium 530x400x250mm, Large 630x480x300mm, X-Large 730x530x350mm, XX-Large 830x580x400mm, Trolley 530x400x250mm (with wheels), Trolley X-Large 730x530x350mm (with wheels).
What is the warranty on foam and case?
5 years on case shell, 2 years on hardware (latches, hinges, wheels), 1 year on foam. Lifetime technical support. If foam doesn't fit your equipment, we replace the foam at no charge within 30 days.
Is the foam removable for cleaning?
Yes. The top foam layer (with cutouts) is removable for cleaning. Use mild soap and water. For electronics-adjacent foam, avoid solvents. Anti-static coating can be refreshed with anti-static spray every 12-18 months.
Do you offer different foam colors?
Standard foam is charcoal gray (anti-static). Custom colors available: black, red, blue, yellow, orange, and Pantone-matched. MOQ for custom color: 100 pieces per color. Custom color lead time adds 7-10 days.
Can I order foam only (without case)?
Yes. We supply foam-only for customers who already own compatible cases. Send us your case interior dimensions, and we custom-cut foam to fit. Foam-only orders ship in 5-7 days. Note: foam dimensions may not exactly match other manufacturers' cases.
What testing standards does the foam meet?
Foam is RoHS compliant, REACH registered, and meets UL94 HF-1 flammability rating. Closed-cell structure is non-absorbent (waterproof) and resistant to oil, gasoline, and most chemicals. Anti-static coating: 10^6 to 10^9 ohms surface resistance.
Can the foam be customized with a company logo?
Yes. We offer CNC-milled or laser-etched logos in the foam. Popular for rental houses, production companies, and corporate clients. One-time tooling charge for logo etching: $100-200. Lead time: 7-10 days.
