Series 8 IP67 Waterproof Level 7 Test Report

Our flagship Series 8 protective case was tested to IP67 per IEC 60529 by CTI (Centre Testing International), a CNAS-accredited lab in Shenzhen. The test verifies dust-tightness (level 6) and temporary water immersion protection (level 7).

Test Conditions

• Sample size: 3 units, randomly selected from production batch (batch #S8-2024-Q4-0876)
• Sample preparation: Cases were aged at 25°C / 50% RH for 48 hours before test
• Pre-conditioning: 1m depth immersion for 30 minutes at room temperature (23°C)
• Post-test inspection: Cases opened and inspected for water/dust ingress; absorbent paper placed inside pre-test to detect any moisture

Test Results

Engineering Design

The IP67 sealing is achieved through:

• Gasket: TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) custom-extruded gasket, 4mm diameter, compression ratio 25%
• Latch design: 4-pt cam-action latches with adjustable tension, ensuring uniform gasket compression
• Hinge design: 316 stainless steel hinge pins with PP+GF body, 10,000-cycle tested
• Pressure equalization: GORE-TEX membrane valve (optional for IP68 upgrade)

Customer Impact

Every production batch of Series 8 cases is 100% air-pressure tested at 30 kPa for 30 seconds. 5% of each batch undergoes full IP67 immersion test. SGS and CTI test reports are available on request.
