Shell operates the largest deepwater drilling fleet in the US Gulf of Mexico, with platforms in 4,000-10,000 feet of water. Their MRO teams need ruggedized cases for sensitive downhole tools, sensors, and electronics.

Challenges

Harsh salt spray, hurricane-force winds, helicopter transport vibration. Equipment must survive 6+ month deployment cycles without maintenance.

Solution

We supplied 250 MIL-STD-810 tested cases with 316L stainless hardware. Custom foam for downhole sensors, MWD tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment. Tested per Shell GS-spec.
