CAL FIRE needed a case for DJI Matrice 350 RTK + H20T thermal camera + 6 TB55 batteries + CSM radar for wildfire surveillance. Used at 250+ fire stations in extreme conditions: 50°C heat, smoke, dust, and rapid deployment from helicopters and trucks. Existing cases took 8 minutes to deploy; CAL FIRE needed 3 minutes. Cases had to survive parachute drops from helicopters (Class B emergency resupply).
Custom KeXinMaterials Series 8 HD (heavy-duty) case, reinforced for 250kg+ compression, IP67 sealed, with quick-release latches (1/4 turn vs 2 full turns). Custom foam holds Matrice 350 with H20T mounted, 6 batteries, CSM radar in quick-access slots. GORE-TEX valve for altitude changes during helicopter transport. Color: high-visibility orange. Tested to MIL-STD-810H including helicopter transport profile.
